| Launch model to commemorate the introduction of the AEC Bus. This was the third bodyshape and was released in 1996 and was an excellent edition to the range. The AEC 34 seater bus was a revolution when launched in 1909 when approximately 60 were manufactured. It was built at Walthamstow (London). Known as the X type it used a four cylinder 28 hp petrol engine. Its speed of 12 mph was 4 times greater than the horse drawn! |
