Walkers Nonsuch

It all started with a little shop in Stoke-on-Trent where Edward Joseph Walker began making toffee for a handful of local customers in the 1890's.

A rich smooth toffee, it soon became popular locally and the business flourished. So much so that, in 1915, he and his son Edward Victor Walker established Walkers' Nonsuch as an independent family company, producing toffee from a factory near his shop.

For me this always came in a tin tray with a hammer that was not only useful for cracking the toffee, but also for a bit of DIY. Even today I have one of these hammers at the bottom of my toolkit.

There were two model s offered in this promotion - the other being the 061TG Model T
