| In 1864 GeorgeBarham, the son of a London dairyman, formed the Express Country Milk Supply Company at 28 Museum Street, near Kings Cross Station, in London. George was concerned about the quality of milk that he was selling, believing that London's cows were living in cramped and unhygienic conditions. He decided to transport fresh milk into London via the railway, which led to the name of the company -Express. | |
