Introduced in 1930 it was published up until
1941 (paper shortages) with over 500 copies in circulation. After the war it was
expected to be re-launched, but this never happened. Our Model A is based on the
113th issue of October 1932.If you’d bought the issue Jan 13th 1940 you would have been given a free pilots cap. One of the favourite strips of the comic was The Hairy Sheriff - his real name Riley. He was originally from a circus and had caught a bandit which resulted in him becoming Sheriff, he could do practically everything except talk properly
