Lucky Strike

Originally coded 119TG,    ‘Lucky Strike’ was introduced in 1917 and first appeared with U.S. servicemen on the shores of the U.K. around 1942/3. The packaging has scarcely changed in all that time. In 1917 the American Tobacco Company founded by James Buchanan Duke, launched ‘Lucky Strike’.

The ‘Lucky Strike’ bulls eye motif originated from ‘Lucky  Strike’ tobacco a brand established in 1871. The pack is basically as original except the grey background has been replaced with white.
