Well here she is the 50th release in our range celebrating the old
cigarette packs form the past. As you know many of the earlier releases are not
available via ourselves only through auction. Good luck to all those looking -
it shows the importance of collecting the releases at the start of each range.This month we feature Ardath a name that is not widely familiar, but was founded in 1896 by Sir Albert Levy. The firm slowly expanded manufacturing exclusive and quality lines for fashionable smokers, even opening a branch in Holland before the 1914/18 war. It was acquired jointly by BAT/ITC in 1925. Collectors of cigarette cards will be familiar with the release in 1935 of Sports Champions featuring the likes of Don Bradman and Fred Perry. These cards were issued by:
