Liptons - known to people throughout the UK as the local grocer.

At the age of 14 Thomas Lipton (1850-1931) stowed away on a ship bound for New York where he was later employed as a grocery clerk. He later returned to his native Glasgow where he opened a small grocery store. He soon had outlets up and down the country and by 30 was almost a millionaire. He later developed the business into tea and tea bags. He died with no heirs an left his money to the city of Glasgow.

This model was manufactured in August 2000 but sold out quickly partly because of the internationally known name and its connection to Tea.
