A name that conjures up memories and the latest in our 'Corner Shop' range. One of the first companies , 'Bristows' saw the benefits of lanolin in in one of it's products. Lanolin soap teased the imagination with the thoughts of soothing lanolin being poured over your body.

Remember also this was very much a post war product and came as a welcome relief after 'carbolic' the dreaded 'wash your mouth out with soap. Also at that time, the soap market was very 'no nonsense' with products like 'Lifebuoy' health soap and Palmolive, with Lux and Bristows bringing more luxury to the soap market, and who remembers 'Lycil'?

This gorgeous Bullnose has an edition of just 800. The model is very low in edition because it was all the available space we had for manufacture in the Far East, as only half of our machines had been installed at the time - so be quick.

This item sold out very quickly mainly due to the low edition quantity and was one of the first items to be manufactured in China. Early production problems meant that an original planned edition of 1000 was reduced to this lower quantity. It was manufactured in January 2001
