Roses Lime Juice |
| It’s very interesting to find out why brands like these have
become so established and why they evolved. Back in the 1860’s Lauchlan Rose
devised a method for preserving juice without alcohol and so invented the first
concentrated fruit juice. He imported the lime juice from the West Indies. The
key to his success was the need for all merchant ships to carry lime or lemon
juice to prevent scurvy. Hence the reason for his thriving trade. We show Rose’s Lime Juice Cordial in our new Model A which is the 21st in the series.  |
