  Another piece of Oxford Diecast's 2009 new tooling programme introduces an unusual but up to the minute and well detailed recovery vehicle – one of three in the current range. Boniface Engineering Limited from Thetford in Norfolk, specialise in vehicle recovery equipment. Founded in 1982, they are now part of Miller Industries (USA) but still operate from their Norfolk premises.
The Kardos Recovery model has a DAF 105 Super Space tractor unit and is decorated in the authentic livery of the Oxford-based vehicle recovery company, seen in and around the county rescuing cars, vans, 4 X 4s and even the local buses! When not assisting stranded motorists and HGVs, John Kardos and his team also exhibit their unique recovery trucks on the UK's Truckfest circuit, so take the chance to have a close look at the real thing and compare it with our realistic 1:76 scale replica.
