The Claymore

Dusty likes a bit of the hard stuff and he’s been sampling a bottle of Claymore for the last month to ensure it’s a suitable product to be featured in our Globe. This popular brand is owned by Whyte and Mackay - the blending and bottling began in 1882 by whisky merchants James Whyte and Charles McKay. This whisky is very popular in the export markets as well as in the UK. Dusty comments - “a nicely rounded blend with a mellow aroma and a well balanced smooth and rich taste”. I wonder how many bottles it took him to come up with that conclusion!
