| Having fought in every major campaign since its formation over
300 years ago this was the “First Regiment of Foot Guards”. Seventy nine battle
honours have been awarded, thirteen members of the regiment have won the
Victoria Cross and one the George Cross. Now called the “The First or Grenadier
Regiment of Foot Guards”. |
