The Royal Corps of Signals was formed in the 1920 and soon had personnel
serving in many 'outposts of the Empire'. At the end of World War Two
the Corps had a strength of 8518 officers and 142,472 soldiers. Today it
strives to live up to its motto 'Certa CIto' which freely translated
means 'Swift and Sure'.
