Post Office Telephones, as they were before privatisation, used to
advertise using Buzby - a big fat yellow cartoon bird who would
encourage us to 'Make someone happy with a phone call'. His voice was
provided by the great Bernard Cribbins - also of 'Wombles' fame. He was
quite a hit with kids, but they didn't pay the phone bills so eventually
he got replaced. Gone but not forgotten!
