Oxford Heritage proudly presents this second series of Limited Edition collectables celebrating evergreen memories of our recent past. Close your eyes, relax and try and travel back just over 50 years. Then recall the sounds, the smells and the smuts! This collection evokes a powerful, indelible memory; LNER, LMS, GWR, Southern and of course British Railways formed in 1947 when state control arrived. We remember the railways promise of cheap travel encouraging us all to ‘get away’ and enjoy the delights of Britain’s seaside resorts. The fastest and most economical way of transporting goods and materials was of course – by the railway.

		The Railway Collection the second in a series especially commissioned for collectors by OXFORD HERITAGE. Each edition is strictly limited to 5,500 sets worldwide and every set comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity all contained in a beautiful box.
