At a recent event, our new 1:43rd models were under cover as the show was not due to start for another 30 minutes, they were not visible to anyone. I was approached by a gentleman who advised that he had a meeting immediately the show started and then he would leave. He had read of our models, but not seen them ‘in the flesh’. He asked if he could look at the models now, privately. Without much thought, I agreed and moved away the cover and then began to describe each of the models. “Please be quiet” he said, “when I am looking at something of beauty I don’t need you to spoil it by your voice”. For the next few minutes he looked at the models. He then came and shook my hand and said “This range of cars is so important, it will live longer than you, if something is beautiful, you don’t need to tell them, they will know.” Very deep, but for that gentleman here are some of our cars - no words (but we do need codes and price !).
