The Austin version of the Paralanian proved very popular, so here’s a
Morris version. These lovely coach built bodies were made by Central
Garage who were based in Parry Lane, Bradford. We’ve had quite a few
letters from members who have seen a modified JA005 appearing on the
internet - a Chipperfields liveried version went for over £60 recently.
This was a CODE 3 model - a vehicle from our range that has been
converted without our knowledge. This is a common practice and we have
no problems with conversions taking place, but of course we do not sell
these models ourselves.
Hi I purchased a morris Paralanian,
No 0812.It was a present for my Auntie who is 94 today.
You may say what a weird present but her husband and her bought
one of these several years ago.Imagine their surprise when she opened it
to find their reg no on your model. They live
in Shotton Deeside and sold it approx 10 years ago.
They owned it and travelled the length and breadth of
England for 31 years.
This was when they retired. I would be grateful if you have any recent knowledge or pictures of
the van. My uncle says he thought it had the name Paralanian across the front
like a badge but he put morris on it after the original was pinched.
