Founded in 1897 as the Automobile Club of Great Britain, King Edward VII
commanded that it should be known as The Royal Automobile Club. The
Morris J2 joined the fleet of vehicles owned by the club in the 1960’s
and many radio rescue vehicles could be seen around the countryside.
