in our series of Practical Magazines comes Practical Motorist a particular
favourite of mine. The first car I owned was a Mini and I had no end of fun on a
Sunday afternoon stripping down the engine and seeing what each bit did.
Suddenly it would be 6 o’clock and I’d realise I had no chance of getting the
parts back together in time, as the evening closed in I’d reconcile myself to
the fact that I’d be walking to work the next day and picking up a gasket on the
way home. Practical Mechanics would give you those extra little tips that made a
difficult job easy, or in Dustys case more difficult!.
