 Curry's High Top

Not one, but two Minor variants this month. Marshall Motor Bodies carried out the conversion especially for Curry's, who had become the first agents for Ignis fridge/freezers. To accommodate these stand up units the high - top conversion was designed. Later it was made available to BMC agents. It's believed that Woolworth, Boots and the GPO (mobile workshop) also used them, but no pictures have been found. The top section is glass fibre as are the rear door extentions. It is believed about 1100-1500 of these were built, with 500 or so going to Curry's.
