 Morris Minor Camper

The motor caravan was originally a plaything of the rich and leisured, but the need for cheaper holidays led to all sorts of conversions being carried out on light commercial vehicles. The back end of this Morris Minor being totally replaced with this over roof camping unit. It's a much classier looking vehicle than some of today's offerings and we believe there is still one surviving somewhere in Southern Ireland - does anyone know ?
This casting will appear with this body finish as the MM032. The mould is being modified and later this year we will release it with a corrugation effect. This will be a different colour, probably a dusty blue, we have still to decide this. This is the fourth Morris Minor variant that we have released this year following on from the High Top, Gown and Ice Cream variants. We have designed a further Morris Minor variant, but will probably release this around December.

Hi. I have just seen you replica morris minor camper and you have asked for information .this camper was made by my father over 30 years ago, it is the same colour with the same registration. They were never produced there is
only one ,we live in hull and my dad was a well known collector of vintage cars, The camper was made at the back of our house. This as probably been seen at vintage car rally's around England because there was always lots of interest because no one had ever seen one before, It was also used by the BBC in a drama called the riff raff element. At this moment it is in a shed in Hull. I will send some photos of proof if you reply. Thanks Lee
