 Morris Minor Camper Van Blue

“A lovely idea, but I don’t think you would have seen one of these on the roads”. Those were the words that confronted me at a show earlier this year; when I explained that the model was based on an original vehicle I received a smile. So here are the pictures to prove it. Lee’s father built the vehicle at the back of the house about 30 years ago and it was regularly seen around the vintage car shows, the young lad in the picture is Russ Harvey’s son who is peering inside. The vehicle appeared in a BBC drama called the Riff Raff Element and it is currently stored in a shed in Hull. As promised in Globe 90 I have now added the corrugation down the sides of the vehicle and we are releasing this version in a blue livery. I would love to drive this and I wonder if it would get past 40mph ! TAFF
