Sussex Police
Sussex boroughs of Hastings, Rye, Chichester and Arundel established forces back in 1835. Brighton & Hove was established even earlier. During the war years the amalgamation of all the forces in the area took place, this being reversed in 1947. However in 1968 the Sussex Constabulary was formed changing later to Sussex Police.
In 1933 Brighton become the first police force in the world to have personal radios. A transmitter was erected on the Town Hall and 30 receivers distributed to patrols. P003 is a nice edition to the range of emergency vehicles. Order Military Range Vehicles
