P009 Police Dog Section - Edition 2,000
The
police forces around the UK started using Mini vans in the early 60’s
and they quickly replaced many scooters that had previously been in use.
It wasn’t long before their size and versatility made them an ideal mode
of transport for the Dog handlers. We show P009 which is one of the
first releases in the Mini Van series following quickly on the heels of
the Diecast Collector model shown below. This type of vehicle would have
been in use throughout the country.
