CitySightseeing Inverness

Inverness is known as the Capital of the Highlands, with its suspension bridges across the River Ness and old stone buildings it’s a lovely place to visit. In December 2000, it was one of only 3 towns to be awarded city status by the Queen. The official ceremony took place on 19 March 2001 and celebrations were held in July around the time of the Inverness Highland Games.
