Typhoo Tea

Typhoo was launched in 1903 by John Summer Jr following comments from his sister on the calming effects of tea fannings. The name Typhoo came from the Chinese word for doctor – “Dai Fu”.
A few new members have queried the origin of our bus and details can be found in the “Journey Through Time Book”, but it did not originate from the old Budgie moulds. It was developed from the Corgi patterns around 1984/1985 by Dusty, for Seener of London. Subsequently the moulds have been replaced and updated, the chassis being a different construction from the Seener original.
