The London Midland Scottish was the largest of the four railway networks founded in 1923.  It also claimed to be the largest transportation organisation in the world. In addition to passengers and freight it also owned a chain of hotels across the country. Door to door delivery was critical to move freight around the country and LMS had fleets of vehicles serving outlying area. The other parts of the railway network were LNER, GWR and Southern. All joined together in 1948 due to nationalisation to become British Railways.

This set features two delivery vans featuring different advertising and the works coach.
