NTR002 Birmingham Tram

The second introduction in the Oxford Tram series, is eagerly awaited, following on from the London Tram released a few months back. The familiar and very attractive blue and cream livery will bring a colourful change to your bus line up and comes with advertising panels of the periods. For its size, the detailing is superb and it will look good on display or on your regional railway layout. Birmingham City Transport operated the passenger transport network in Birmingham from 1937, right throug to 1969. It was created out of Birmingham Corporation Tramways and reflected the fact that there was a varied mixture of trams, trolleybuses and motor buses in the city. However, between 1947 and 1954, the company gradually phased out both its trams and trolleybuses, replacing them with over 1700 new buses during the period.
