Production of vehicles increased in the UK during the 1930's with Britain becoming the largest European exporter. Lord Nuffield controlled the following marques - Morris, MG, Wolseley and Riley - with over a quarter of all the production coming from this group. The Rootes group included Humber and Sunbeam.
