Wales & Edwards (W&E) was established in 1951 in Shrewsbury, UK. Production began with one ton three wheeler battery-electric milk floats, W&E made the standard pattern United Dairies (Unigate) milk float from 1951 onwards. It was a unique three wheeler design. The range was widened to include the larger Rangemaster and the Loadmaster battery-electric artic.
