The Austin A60 Cambridge was a British automobile produced by the Austin Motor Company from 1961 to 1969. It was a four-door saloon and five-door estate car, and was based on the Austin A55 Cambridge. The A60 was powered by a 1.6-litre B-Series straight-four engine, which produced 61 bhp (45 kW). It was available with a four-speed manual transmission or an optional automatic transmission.
The A60 Cambridge was a popular car. It was praised for its comfortable ride, spacious interior, and good fuel economy. The A60 was also used by the British police force, and was featured in the 1969 film The Italian Job.
The A60 Cambridge was replaced by the Austin Maxi in 1969.

Pleased with my purchase. I wish it were made to a bigger scale but that is my fault for not being familiar with the actual scale as it advertised. Well made Austin A60 Cambridge. Just regret that my father never upgraded his A55 Farina Cambridge to an A60 which, by all accounts, was a better drive.
Excellent representation of the real car. A much appreciated model of a vehicle so typical of the 1960s/70s. Whist understanding the investment that models require, it would be fun to have more examples from the Pininfarina BMC range. Most car parks of the time would have had a selection of Austins , Morris's, MGs, Rileys etc. I recall the local minister with a Morris Oxford.
