The original Heinkel Kabine which was designed by the famous German aircraft manufacturers was made with a steel unit body and the interior was accessed by an opening front. Unlike some of its competitors, it had a four speed gear box plus a reverse gear. Its top speed was 56 mph which in those days was probably a bit scary for the passenger, considering it was only a three-wheeler!

Double Bubble

Excellent model and now a companion to the Trojan RHD version already in the cabinet. The grey colour suits it well. Good detail and lovely clear glazing showing off the interior with correct pattern seats and the utterly minimalist suite of controls - who needs more than three pedals, a wheel and a gear-lever anyway. Waiting for the Messerschmitt “convertible” version to come back into stock to join the bubble top. It would be great to add the even more popular BMW. Isetta to the range and see the Bond Bug in either 1/18 or 1/43 scale.
