D.R. Macleod Haulage is a family-run haulage company based in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland. It was founded in 1981 by Donald Roderick Macleod with one vehicle. The company quickly grew, and in 1984 it launched the first daily express service between Inverness and Lewis.

Over the next few decades, D.R. Macleod Haulage continued to expand its operations. It now has a fleet of over 70 vehicles and 90 trailers, and it operates a network of depots across Scotland. The company provides a wide range of haulage services, including general haulage, pallet distribution, and temperature-controlled transportation.

It is a highly respected company in the Scottish haulage industry and is known for its commitment to customer service and its investment in its fleet and staff. The company has won numerous awards for its performance, including the Scottish Haulier of the Year award in 2019.

In 2023, D.R. Macleod Haulage was acquired by DFDS, a Danish logistics giant. This acquisition was seen as a positive step for the company, as it gave it access to DFDS's global network and resources. D.R. Macleod Haulage continues to operate under its own brand and management, and it remains committed to providing its customers with the highest quality of service.
