Launched in 1948, production ran until 1954, during which time over 25,000 cars rolled off the Nuffield Company owned production line. Powered by a 2215cc 72 bhp six cylinder engine with four speed gearbox, the 6/80 was used extensively as a Police patrol car, where its power - it had a top speed of 81 mph - and reliability were appreciated.This model carries the registration GMW 133.

    Just what I wanted

    This was bought as a thank you gift for a friend. He had owned and driven one of these years ago, and always said it was one of the nicest cars he ever had. He is delighted with the model, if I’d managed to get it in the two tone livery of green and white, it would have been an exact model.
