Good News for Our European Customers – No More Unexpected Import Charges

We're pleased to announce an important improvement to the way we ship orders to customers across the European Union.

From today, EU orders placed through the Oxford Diecast website will be shipped using Royal Mail Delivered Duties Paid (PDDP).

What does this mean?

When you shop with Oxford Diecast, any applicable import VAT, customs duties and customs clearance charges are now included in the price you pay at checkout. This means there should be nothing further to pay when your parcel is delivered.

Please note items may show different until you add the item to the basket. The item in the basket is the price including all charges. 

Whilst you may notice that some product prices are higher than they have been previously, this is because we have included the applicable import charges within our EU pricing. The price you see at checkout is designed to be your final price, helping to avoid unexpected customs invoices, handling fees or delays once your parcel reaches your country.

We believe this provides a much simpler and more transparent shopping experience, allowing you to order with confidence knowing there should be no surprise charges on delivery.

Why have we made this change?

We understand that since the introduction of post-Brexit customs procedures, many EU customers have experienced unexpected import charges after placing their order.

We've listened to your feedback and have worked with Royal Mail to introduce a solution that makes shopping with Oxford Diecast much easier.

Instead of paying import charges after your parcel arrives in your country, these costs are now included when you place your order.
