The Land Rover Series III, a short wheelbase vehicle which the company produced between 1971 and 1985, during which time the company's millionth Land Rover rolled off the production line in 1976. The Series III was the most popular of the 'Series' Land Rovers with over 440.000 being manufactured before being superseded by the Land Rover 90 and 110. It came with 4-speed manual main transmission, 2-speed manual transfer gearbox and selectable 4-wheel drive.

Hi I purchased a 1/74 and 1/43 rd model and both were very accurate and detailed . As I have restored an 81, series 111, 88 from the ground up I cannot fault it . The only difference is mine has a safari back door . Regards Mike Henderson

Great models, great details.

The models are great, I would however to have a tow bar fitted to tow a trailer and realism to my "driving" time, with my model. A working tow bar would be great along with trailers of different types.
