Pretty Good

I was satisfied with both bundles I bought with the exception of the Adams Radial I received which wouldn’t run well no matter what I tried and as of writing this, it has been sent back.

Good value bundle of models

Good selection of models all good quality models all ran perfectly with no problems

Bundle surprise

I like a previous reviewers received the Adam radial tank in br black 30582 which was an excellent surprise as I model BR although most of my stuff is 1970s The loco does not seem to pull much (mine manages 3 mark1 coaches are slow speed) but having read other online reviews appears to be "normal" characteristics for this loco The Mark 3 coach fits in well with my main era models as does the toad van Overall for a mystery bundle it is impressive, so impressed am I I have just ordered a second

The engine supplied was a surprise!

The 4 engines offered were a Dean Goods with snow plough, a J27, an Adams tank in EKR or Southern colours so I was surprised to receive a black Adams tank 30582. I suspected the coach would be a mk 3 and indeed it was, a RUBUF, which is far too modern for my modelling but as it was expected I am not concerned about receiving it. The Toad brake van and PO wagon were fine. The road rail landrover was per the website, again too modern for my modelling but like the mk3 I can always try and sell it on if I want to. Overall I feel I got good value from the package but the WW1 package deal was much better value as far as I am concerned.

I liked the great price very reasonable locomotive ran quite wel for a little bit but needed modification still very good

Wow! Suprised

An excellent random selection. Especially the BR Yellow rail Land Rover. But the best surprise was the ROD dean Goods. Excellent purchase overall.

Disappointed

As lover of Oxford diecast products I decided to spend my Christmas money on a lucky box oo gauge and inside was an Adams Radial a great locomotive I contacted the customer service by phone and email about a query about DCC and and nearly 2 weeks down the line I am still waiting for a response

OR Bundle

Excellent value for money anyway but the Boxing Day discount made it more so, Everything is as described and although the choice of locomotive was random luck was with me, i got the one I wanted and, but even without that there would be no complaints or moans from me whatsoever. Delivery was quick and well securely packaged.

An interesting selection.

An interesting selection of items. Everything found a place on the layout. The Mk3 is good but the footboards benefit from some gluing.

A gamble

Not had time to use. Had hoped for one of the the other 3 locos, but it looks well detailed, wagons are great, knew the carriage would not matchy era so it will up up to sell on. It was a gamble, good value and some items I will keep.
